Bert N. Mitchell, CPA, MBA
Bert Mitchell is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Mitchell & Titus. Distinguished service has characterized Bert's 40-plus years in the accounting profession. He has served as president of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, chairman of the New York State Board of Accountancy, member of the board and the governing council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, president of the Accountants Club of America, and co-founder and chairman of the National Association of Minority CPA Firms. He has also served on the Commissioner's Advisory Group of the Internal Revenue Service. Bert will retire as the firm's CEO in December 2008, but will remain chairman of the board until 2010.

Kwabina Appiah, CPA, MBA
Kwabina Appiah is vice chairman and chief operating officer of Mitchell & Titus. Kwabina also serves as a member of the Executive Committee. He is a certified public accountant in various states.
In his more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, Kwabina has served clients in the commercial, government, and not-for-profit sectors. His involvement with various audits of federal, state, and local government agencies has given him an understanding of their accounting, audit, compliance, performance, and reporting requirements.

Anthony S. Kendall, CPA, MBA, CFE
Anthony S. Kendall is vice chairman of client services and managing partner of the New York office of Mitchell & Titus. Beginning January 1, 2009, Tony will serve as the firm's chief executive officer. He also currently serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. He is a certified public accountant in New York and in other states. He is also a certified fraud examiner.
Tony has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, including seven years with a former “Big Five” CPA firm in New York. He has performed due diligence and agreed-upon procedures, and has provided business advice to private, not-for-profit, and government sector clients.
