Irene R. Davis

Irene MarshallIrene R. Davis is an audit partner in the Philadelphia and Chicago offices of Mitchell & Titus, a member firm of
Ernst & Young Global Limited. Irene is the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Employee Benefits Plan Practice. She is also a member of the firm’s Executive and Quality Control Committees. Irene has over 15 years of experience in public accounting and is a certified public accountant in various states.

Irene’s engagements include nationally recognized commercial companies and not-for-profit organizations. Irene has extensive experience performing audits, agreed-upon procedures and other attestation services, as well as providing accounting and business advisory services. She has significant experience auditing various types of plans including cash balance, leveraged employee stock ownership, Taft-Hartley, and welfare benefit plans, as well as traditional pension and 401(k) plans. She is familiar with regulatory requirements governing the operations of these types of plans. Irene’s commercial experience includes audits of entities that operate in the investment management, venture capital, cable communications, and healthcare industries.

Irene graduated magna cum laude from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance. As a leader in her field, Irene has been recognized among the top 40 Under Forty executives by The Philadelphia Business Journal and The Network Journal. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
